SALISBURY, Md.- Once a week, Wicomico Middle School transforms into a barbershop, offering free haircuts to students.
It's a new program started by intervention teacher Kristin Cashman.
Barbers and stylists from the Salisbury area volunteer their services to offer the cuts free of charge.
The goal: If you look good, you'll feel good.
"It just started out of a need for students with low confidence, and it truly has made such a huge difference," Cashman said. "They are carrying themselves a little taller."
The free haircuts will be given every Tuesday at Wicomico Middle School.
