REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- A woman wanted in connection to a Rehoboth Beach bank robbery is believed to have robbed two other banks along the East Coast.

Detectives with the FBI are calling the unidentified woman the "Pink Lady Bandit," since she carried a distinctive pink handbag in two of the robberies.

According to the FBI, the first robbery occurred July 20 at the Orrstown Bank on Giant Lane in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The second robbery occurred three days later at the M&T Bank on Camelot Drive in Rehoboth Beach, investigators said.

The third robbery happened at the Southern Bank on West 3rd Street in Ayden, North Carolina, on July 24, investigators said.

According to the FBI, in each case, the woman showed the bank teller a note that demanded money. No weapon was ever displayed or implied.

Aside from the pink handbag, in two of the robberies, the woman reportedly wore yoga pants, tank tops and a navy blue baseball hat, investigators said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact their local FBI Office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. Tips can also be submitted online.
