SALISBURY, Md. - A Wicomico County man has been sentenced to 19 years in prison for possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl and for violating his probation.
Tyvon Keyon Davis, 42, of Salisbury, was sentenced in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County on January 15.
According to the Wicomico County State's Attorney, members of the U. S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force executed a search and seizure warrant in June of 2019 in the 200 block of Clover Street in Salisbury.
Officers reportedly found Davis in the home and also recovered a large amount of fentanyl.
The warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by the DEA and WINTF.
Officers discovered that Davis was part of Keith Jackson’s drug trafficking organization., according to authorities.
Jackson and several other co-conspirators were charged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office on numerous drug related charges.
At the time the warrant was executed, Davis was on probation in Wicomico County for separate drug charges.
