Salisbury University to Scale Back Admissions for Spending Freeze

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury University will host several events Thursday for healing after more racist graffiti was found Wednesday on campus.

According to the President's Office, the University will hold a special session at the Counseling Center from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Nanticoke Room at the Guerrieri University Center.

Additionally, President Wight will hold an open discussion with students, faculty, and staff from noon - 1:30 pm in the Wicomico Room.

University Officials say students are invited to the Multicultural Student Services Suite from 2-4 p.m. 

The School of Social Work will provide a space for support and solidarity from 3-5 p.m. in Conway Hall, Room 381, according to the President's Office.

Throughout the day The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and PACE will hold civic reflections and small group discussions in the Center for Equity, Justice and Inclusion, and Blackwell Hall.

The university says from 5-6:30 p.m., members of the campus community are invited to gather in the Wicomico Room, GSU, in fellowship, adding that food and beverages will be available.

University officials say the Residence Halls will hold meetings at various times and suggest reaching out to your Resident Directors and Assistants for more information.
