REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the City of Rehoboth Beach announced Tuesday that it will not host a public tree lighting and sing-along this year.
Although the city is limited in its capacity to hold the annual celebration, the Christmas tree will still be on display and lit throughout the holiday season. The city is thanking Jerry Owens of Lewes for his generous donation of this year’s tree.
Beginning on Black Friday, Nov. 27, and continuing throughout the weekend, holiday music will accompany visitors and shoppers as they walk through Rehoboth Beach's bandstand plaza and its adjoining businesses.
For event information, please visit rehobothbandstand.com or contact the Communications Department at 302-227-6181, ext. 522 or communications@cityofrehoboth.com.
