SALISBURY, Md.- Mission BBQ, the community-focused restaurant based in Maryland, will be opening a location on Delmarva Spring 2021.
SVN Miller Commercial Real Estate helped bring the barbecue restaurant to Salisbury.
"It's a little unique dealing with an entity that is in a business, but is also benefiting the community, especially veterans and first responders," said Tonney Insley, and advisor at SVN Miller Commercial Real Estate.
The restaurant will open in a space at the Promenade Shopping Center in North Salisbury. Insley says it signifies people are still investing in the area.
"I think this is indicative of the good times ahead, but I also think this shows some momentum for Salisbury, especially the north side of Salisbury... it shows the community that their businesses care," said Insley.
Additionally, the Panera Bread in the Promenade Shopping Center will close its doors at the end of 2020 and reopen in May or June 2021 at a new location near Aldi.
The new Panera location will feature a drive-thru option.
