The Annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets supports homeless animals right here on Delmarva.

Heather Bahrami with the Worcester County Humane Society, and her furry friend Digger, join us in the studio to talk about the 18th Annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets event taking place April 22 at the Ocean City Boardwalk starting at 8:30 am.

The Worcester County Humane Society is a no-kill shelter. This year, they are hoping to raise funds to start a spay and neuter clinic.

The 18th Annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets weekend kicks off with a dinner and silent auction on April 21 at Adolfo’s Italian Restaurant on the boardwalk in Ocean City.

On Saturday morning, April 22, the day will kick off with the walk at the inlet on the boardwalk. They will be having contests for the best dressed, biggest, smallest and best trick following the walk in the registration area. They also have a cutest cat photo contest, so be sure to bring a photo of your cat to enter.
