Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with areas of fog. Lows in the upper 40s climbing to the upper 50s by sunrise.
Friday: Areas of morning fog, then clearing. Breezy. Winds from the southwest 5-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph at times. Highs in the upper 70s.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the low 80s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 70s. Chance of rain 90 percent.
Monday: Partly cloudy, breezy, and much cooler. Highs around 60°F.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Highs around 60°F.

FORECAST DISCUSSION
Normal high: 61°F. Normal low: 40°F.
A frontal boundary that brought strong storms to Delmarva Wednesday evening has sagged across Delmarva, a little farther south than anticipated. But, we're still warm to the southwest, with the rest of Delmarva on the chilly side.
The frontal boundary will begin retreating back north Thursday night. As it does so, winds will shift back to a southerly direction. Temperatures will bottom out in the upper 40s around midnight, and climb to the upper 50s by sunrise Friday.
With the recent rain and return of warm, humid air, expect areas of fog to develop overnight into Friday morning.
Friday will start off mostly cloudy with areas of fog in the morning, then becoming partly to mostly sunny in the afternoon with warmer temperatures climbing to near 80 degrees.
Saturday is the pick of the weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s with a gusty south breeze.
A strong-ish cold front is expected to cross Delmarva sometime on Sunday; the timing is still uncertain, but a rough guess would be sometime in the afternoon/evening timeframe. Temperatures will drop nearly 20 degrees on the backside of the front, so we'll be watching for the potential for severe weather with this front. Watch this space for updates on timing and any severe thunderstorm potential.
Cooler, more seasonable temperatures return next week.
In the long range, temperatures are expected to average above normal, and precipitation below normal for April 9 - April 15.
