DELMARVA - The National Weather Service has now confirmed at least two tornadoes touched down on the Delmarva Peninsula on Thursday evening.
We were already aware of a tornado in Kent County, Delaware, traversing through the Dover area after 6 p.m. NWS says that storm was at least an EF-1, with estimated peak winds of 105 miles per hour.
The other confirmed tornado was in the Barclay area of Queen Anne's County in Maryland. That storm was ranked at EF-1.
Final storm reports have not been issued by the National Weather Service. Its crews from the Mount Holly, New Jersey office have been busy after an active night of severe weather with multiple tornado warned storms.
No injuries have been reported from either tornado on Delmarva.
