Sean Streicher has been in and out of ice rinks for over 20 years and he has always had the dream of driving a Zamboni. Well now, he can mark that dream off his bucket list! Sean joins Brian Harris, Zamboni driver at the Talbot County Community Center, to join him in the day of the life of a Zamboni driver.
Brian loves his job and has been doing it for over 10 years. Brian had to go to Colorado to take a 5 day class on ice maintence and to learn how to drive a Zamboni. He learned from Don Zamboni, the son of the inventor of the Zamboni, Frank Zamboni.
Once a week, Brian and his crew do ice maintenance. Brian has heard from many people that have visited his rink that they have the best ice. One gentlemen who does clinics all across the nation said that the Talbot County Community Center has the best ice he has ever skated on.
