In another episode of “A Day in the Life,” Sean spends the day as a car wash employee for Rehoboth Car Wash, in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
Everyone loves cruising around in a clean car, but it takes a lot of work. That’s why Chris Dispoto opened the Rehoboth Car Wash in 2002.
“I don’t think anybody can deny, you climb into your car after it’s been dirty and now it’s nice and clean inside and out–it definitely makes you feel good,” Dispoto said.
After watching Sean’s full day of scrubbing off bugs, cleaning tires, vacuuming seats, and polishing and drying the car while being careful not to mix the special designated towels, it’s clear the job is best left to the professionals.
Dispoto says on a good day during the summer they can wash over 300 cars. But apparently business slows down in the summer, during the winter they have a few days where they wash around 600 cars!
With all of that attention to detail, those are pretty impressive numbers.
