Come enjoy a night of painting while supporting a great cause.

The Alana Rose Foundation is hosting a fundraiser in partnership with the Painting with a Twist studio in Lewes, Delaware on Feb. 23.

Attendees of the “Painting With a Purpose” fundraiser can participate in painting the “Love Anchors the Soul” canvas instructed by Loretta Ellingsworth while enjoying complimentary beverages, food, 50/50 raffles, basket bingo, and more. No painting experience is needed.

The Alana Rose Foundation was founded by Kyle and Alexa Prettyman who lost their daughter Alana after a prolonged hospitalization and devastating illness.

In order to support other families through such devastating times, the ARF works to provide financial assistance to help with travel, housing and/or living expenses for qualified families, making children happier and healthier by keeping their family together.

Alexa Prettyman, Alana’s mother said that the battle her daughter went through was one of the hardest things she’s ever done, but it was an experience to bring support to other families going through similar trials.

“We’re working on putting together a lot of different events to continue fundraising for her cause, including a vendor fair in March,” said Prettyman. “Anyone can sign up to sell their goods.”

This fundraiser is being held at Painting with a Twist, in Lewes, DE, a fun and interactive studio that has hosted numerous fundraisers through their program, Painting with a Purpose. The owners John and lania Peterson said that they have been able to help raise thousands of dollars for numerous organizations through their fundraising partnership,
