Alzheimer’s Association

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, 6.5 Million people in this country are living with Alzheimer’s Disease. That number is expected to double in the next 25 years. On Thursday, June 2nd, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Alzheimer’s Association is holding a free town hall at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park and Visitors Center, at 4806 Golden Hill Road in Church Creek, Maryland. The topics is brain health in the African American community and the keynote speaker is Doctor Carl Hill, the chief officer of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Alzheimer’s Association.
