After receiving numerous emails concerning the Book Drop and international shipping, Bethany Beach Books discovered they had been selected and featured on Buzzfeed’s Top 20 Geeky Subscription Boxes You NeedRight Now.
Bethany Beach Books launched their Book Drop subscription box toward the end of February and received a great response from their customers. Once a month the staff at Bethany Beach Books hand-select one of their favorite new titles based on the subscribers reading preferences, package the book up all nice and cute and mail it out to their subscribers.

Bethany Beach Books says they understand that not everyone has an independent bookstore in their town, so they’re bringing the independent bookstore to those who are bookstore-less.
According to Bethany Beach Books, they never knew the Book Drop would become a nation-wide and international subscription box, let alone be advertised by such a huge online presence like Buzzfeed.
Bethany Beach Books was completely blown away when their subscription box that comes out of their little 2,000 square foot bookstore in quiet little Bethany Beach had been selected and advertised to a global audience of more than 200 million.
Suddenly, the subscribers started pouring in from all over the country and even abroad. In just over 12 hours, Bethany Beach Books says the Book Drop was suddenly reaching 26 states and three countries.
Bethany Beach Books says since this list, they have tripled their book ordering and have had to push their delivery date to the first of every month to properly provide the quality service they pride themselves on. After this sudden increase in subscribers, Bethany Beach Books is “extremely grateful and excited to start spreading the Bethany Beach Book’s culture and the love of reading around the world.”
