We are making a classic and very easy summer dish- bruschetta!

Martin Hutchison and Suzi Peterson join Jimmy and Lisa to explain how using natural and fresh vegetables can transform a dish.

Martin, who runs the Camden Community Garden, and Suzi, who heads up the “Summer Lunch at the Garden” help bring this classic summer recipe to life.

For anyone who is interested in making the bruschetta the ingredients and recipe are as follows:

  • Fresh from the garden tomatoes, diced
  • Basil, cut in strips
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Baguette, sliced and broiled with olive oil
  1. Dice tomatoes and add basil.
  2. Add olive oil and balsamic, salt and pepper.
  3. Serve with toasted baguette slices.
