- Oil changes
- Tires rotated – every other oil change or every 5,000 miles
If you do not keep track of oil changes and other car maintenance Matt says be sure to keep an eye on the warning lights on your dashboard. There are now apps that will remind you to take care of maintenance for your car.
Things you can check at home:
- Oil
- Washer fluid
- Belts
- Hoses
- Cracks
- Leaks
- Taillights
Matt says if you want to trade your car in a few years down the road, you need to keep up with your car maintenance so that it has a higher trade in value.
