Sometimes the stories we share on DelmarvaLife are inspirational.
Others are joyful. But sometimes, we share stories that are truly heartbreaking. Cenzy Thorton is living with a very rare disease, called Tay-Sachs. Tay-Sachs disease does not have a cure and we are sitting with the Thornton family to learn more about it. We’ll also learn about Cenzy’s family is holding it together day by day.
Dad, Kristopher, and mom, Kristen, says they try not to focus on Cenzy’s disease. They share Cenzy’s story each time they get and they have a normal routine they follow. Kristen says they try to get her out as much as possible. They value every minute.
