For the extended WBOC family, Charles Norris “Scorchy” Tawes will always be the beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend whose living presence will always be missed, but whose presence on video will always be cherished. When fall changes to winter, Charlie always remembers those precious days he spent with that great man (Sept 2009).
