We got word that there was a BIG pumpkin here on Delmarva so we went out to find it.
Sean joins “Pumpkin Hobbyist” Brent Sutton in Greenwood, Del. to see the “big daddy” of pumpkins weighing in at 1100 lbs.
Brent says “it all starts with a seed.” He has been growing this particular pumpkin for six months. It grew 20-30 lbs a day this past summer. He was giving the pumpkin a minimum of 70-100 lbs of water a day.
Brent started planting pumpkins six years. The first pumpkin he and his father grew was 300 lbs.
The giant pumpkin will go to south Jersey for a competition.
