The phrase goes “kids says the darnedest things” right; but they also say some of the most truthful and powerful things too. The proof is in the inspirational words said by the students at Greenwood Elementary School.
With help from their teachers and advisers, the students of Greenwood Elementary School came together to decorate puzzle pieces with their names, along with something that makes them special, and the result was a beautiful collage that celebrated diversity, yet unity.
Special education teacher, Katie Klein and special education paraprofessional, Julie Dykes stopped by DelmarvaLife to tell us how they backed their students and their message, in order to send a bigger message of acceptance, especially for those children they may otherwise feel outside of the bunch.
