James M. Bennett High School just released its 2016 lip dub video.

The school put out its first lip dub video last spring, which has over 75,000 views on YouTube. The staff at James M. Bennett also put out a video in the beginning of summer last year, which has over 27,000 views and includes Alice Cooper’s song “School’s Out For Summer.”

A lip dub is a video that combines lip syncing and audio dubbing to make a music video. In this lip dub video, the students, staff, and some familiar Maryland faces, such as Salisbury Mayor Jake Day, created a video while lip singing and dancing to popular hit songs like “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift, “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten, “Hit the Quan” by iLoveMemphis, and “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) by Silento – just to name a few.

Lip dub videos are used to show school spirit at James M. Bennett High School.

DelmarvaLife and WBOC filmed the ending where they touch on the importance of finding a cure for breast cancer. Over the course of the school year, James M. Bennett has had two staff members diagnosed with breast cancer. To donate to cancer research or to learn more about early detection, please click on the links below:
