, where you can escape the beach crowds and enjoy a relaxing vacation.
Ray Barker and his wife Sherry took over the campground in 2000 and have been working to make it better ever since. The Barker’s started renovating the grounds, pulling ideas from their own RV experiences.
The campground is made up of 80 acres of land offering multiple site settings.
“We have shaded sites for people that want to be in the trees. We have clear sites with access for satellites – you know people travel with motor homes and they need to clear space to get their satellite to work with the television,” Ray says. “We have buddy sites where you can camp with your friends on into awning so you don’t have to travel around the back of your camper to see your friends they’re facing you. We have group sites, we have group tenting – so I have a little bit of something for everybody.”
If you do not have a camper, there are cabins and trailers to rent.
Tall Pines Harbor Campground also has many activities to do while you’re camping. There is a zero entry pool, a jumping pillow at the playground, and theme parties – just to name a few.
