State Farm Agent, Billy Reese, gives us some tips on how to prepare your insurance policy for an impending winter storm. Billy’s tips are as follows:
- Create a home inventory (take note of the goods in your house, the approximate purchase price of the goods).
- Schedule an appointment (speak with your insurance agent about coverages, deductibles, car insurance, and possible discounts that are available on your policy). Make sure to bring that list with you!
- Discuss upgrades (let your agent know about any renovations, additions or new appliances in your home within the past year).
