We’re sharing a few tips on how to be more environmentally friendly.
Green At Home:
- Ditch the paper napkins, choose cloth
- Instead of using the running sink to shave, fill a cup with warm water and dip into that
- Can the plastic wrap, utilize reusable containers instead for storing leftovers or packing lunch
Green At Work:
- Instead of printing, use email instead
- If you have to print, use both sides of the paper
- Utilize recycling bins in the office
- If you’re not using something, turn it off (computers, printers, etc…)
- If you’re inundated by paper mail, opt out of the mailing list
Green On The Go:
- Bring reusable shopping bags
- Instead of driving to work, ride a bike
- Utilize a recycling bin in your car!
Green Examples:
- Plant trees
- Pick up trash
- Review electric bill to find out where you can save
