Dealing with the loss of of loved one is never easy. There’s a group of Delmarva that recognizes that and they’re trying to help broken hearts heal – particularly when it comes to the families of the men and women who fight for our freedoms.
CEO, Jason Bell and COO, Mary Trevors with Widows of Warriors tell us all about the group.
“Widows of Warriors is a 101C3 charity foundation that’s dedicated to providing financial relief to the wives and children of the fallen heroes, such as in the military, the police, and fire department,” Jason says.
Jason and Mary talked about their own personal experiences with loosing people close to them who were in the military. Mary talks about how when a military spouse passes, they need financial support for their children, mortgage for their house, car payments, etc. and that’s where the group can help their families.
