Fisher Architecture LLC is currently working through the final stages of the permit process for SoDel Concepts’ newest restaurant, the Bluecoast Seafood Grill in Rehoboth Beach, Del.
“We wanted to create something a little different, unique in feel,” Keith Fisher, Fisher Architecture LLC, says. “Ultimately it’s a SoDel [Concepts] product so it will be done with an incredible level of thought.”
SoDel Concepts’ newest eatery will be almost identical to the Bluecoast Seafood Grill in Bethany Beach, which has been in business for 12 years, winning several national, regional and local awards. According to Scott Kammerer, president of SoDel Concepts, the new restaurant will serve many of the same dishes including fresh fish, lobster, steak, burgers and more.
“Great food, great service is what we want,”Krammerer says. “We want to hire more people, help the community and help the restaurant business in Delaware.”
The more than 7,000-square-foot restaurant will feature a private dining room, with an open kitchen, offering an intimate feel. From the outside, the building will welcome guests with a large area, suitable for a small stage to feature acoustic bands, a fire pit and corn hole boards. In total, the restaurant will be able to accommodate 250 guests.
Krammerer says this newest venture is similar to what the company did with Matt’s Fish Camp in Bethany. Since the original Bluecoast Seafood Grill consistently has a two hour wait during the summer months, this may attract some of those customers.

The SoDel Concepts’ owner says Fisher Architecture LLC have been great to work with, claiming the business is professional and dedicated to its clients. Fisher had something similar to say about SoDel.
“We’ve worked with Scott for a few months and it’s a project we’re really proud of,” Fisher says. “They were a client we were really excited to get because of who they and what they’ve done. Our missions aligned.”
According to Krammerer, this will be SoDel Concepts’ 10th location, in addition to a catering company, food truck and the brand’s very own line of sea salts.
Bluecoast Seafood Grill in Rehoboth Beach will be open seven days of week, year round for lunch and dinner beginning June 2017.
