We’re in the Kirby and Holloway Kitchen with brisket, brisket and more brisket!

Chef Robbie Jester and Pit Boss Nick Wallace from Limestone BBQ and Bourbon  show us how to make their Cumin Lime Sweet Potato Salad with Black Beans.

Cumin Lime Sweet Potato Salad with Black Beans:

Ingredients: 

  • Fresh lime juice
  • Lime zest
  • Honey
  • Salt
  • Brown Sugar
  • Cumin
  • Sweet Potato
  • Limestone BBQ Rub
  • Black beans

Instructions: 

  1. Mix lime juice, lime zest, honey, salt, brown sugar and cumin in mixing bowl.
  2. Peel, cube and boil sweet potatoes.
  3. Add sweet potatoes and black beans to the mix.

 

They also show us how to properly cut brisket.
