You can run a dog DNA test on your dogs to see what breeds of dogs they are mixed with, if you have a mixed breed. You can also learn about their ancestors with the DNA test. You take a swab from the inside of the dogs mouth and you send it to the lab. Then, you receive your results about three weeks later telling you what type of dog you have and you can see the dogs family tree.
