This past weekend at U. S. 13 Dragway was a weekend filled with events for their 55th Anniversary Super Chevy Show and Shine event. The track held bracket races both Saturday and Sunday along with a car show on Sunday and grudge races between TV star Barefoot Ronnie Pace and the 302 Nation’s Mark Bentson Jr.
Saturday’s results –
Top ET: Brandon Ennis took the win over Phillip Truitt by running a 4.86 on his dial of a 4.85.
Mod ET: Daryl Beauchamp won in a double break out against Michael Jefferson.
Street Eliminator: Billy McLamb took the win over Ryan Whetzel when McLamb ran a 11.51 on a 11.48 dial.
Outten Brother’s Pro Bike: Harvey Powell took the win against Ash Hayward by running dead on his dial.
Hot Rod: Sara Davis ran dead on her dial when Ed Tull dropped red.
Jr. Dragster: Nicholas Bowie took the win over Keith Riddle when Riddle dropped red.
Sunday’s Results –
Top ET: Phillip Truitt ran a 6.71 on a 6.70 dial against Bill Groton for the win.
Mod ET: Brian Dennis ran a 7.42 on a 7.41 dial to take the win over Humphrey Maddox.
Outten Brother’s Pro Bike: Harvey Powell doubled up this past weekend.
Street Eliminator: Ryan Whetzel took the win against Dustin Thibault when he ran dead on his dial of an 11.80.
Hot Rod:
Sara Davis doubled up in Hot Rod this weekend when she took the win against James Cummings, running a 11.87 on a 11.83 dial.
Jr. Dragster: Cole Foskey took the win over Brett Holston when he ran a 9.00 on a 8.96 dial.
