A food truck is an entire kitchen on wheels that specializes in certain foods. You can order your food right at the window.
Taco Reho is a food truck on Rt. 1 near Rehoboth that serves wings, fries, hot dogs, and of course tacos.
Right now, food trucks are not allowed in Rehoboth or Lewes because they have to have a physical permanent establishment. Some restaurants say it is unfair competition because the food trucks do not have to pay rent.
However, the locals are not against food trucks. Bob Yesbok, Rehboth Beach blogger, says when the visitors come down in the summer, they will have better restaurants. Rehoboth is becoming a “foodie destination” and the people in Rehoboth are dying for new things.
