Friday night racing at U. S. 13 Dragway had a huge purse for Jr. Dragster drivers taking part in the Ray Townsend III Memorial Race. Sponsors, RET III Motorsports, Ny Zac Marine, and Outten Brothers Home Furnishings supplied the $1,000 check to Cole Foskey of Rhodesdale, MD who took the final round win. Louis Pulice took the win in Top ET, David Keyton took the win in Mod ET, and Billy McLamb in Street Elminator. Harvey Powell took the win in the Outten Brothers Pro Bike Division and Dave Hoopes in Hot Rod.
Top ET: Louise Pulice took the win over Ben Parks when he ran a 6.71 on a 6.70 dial.

Mod ET: David Keyton ran dead on his dial of a 5.83 to take the win over Ben Garnett.

Street Eliminator: Billy McLamb took the win over Gary Stickles when he rain a 11.58 on a 11.57 dial.

Outten Brothers Pro Bike: Harvey Powell took the win over Charles Nock when he ran a 9.03 on a 9.02 dial.

Hot Rod: Dave Hoopes took the win against Josh Davis by running a 12.35 on a 12.17 dial.

Jr. Dragster: Cole Foskey won over Zach Shirkey when Foskey ran a 9.03 on a 9.02 dial.

This coming weekend at U. S. 13 Dragway is their 55th anniversary Super Chevy Show. Both Saturday and Sunday will include bracket racing along with Sunday’s match up between Mark Bentson Jr. and Street Outlaws driver Ronnie Pace. Sunday will also be the day for the Mason Dixon Classic Chevy club car show. Gates open at 9 am with judging beginning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and awards at 1:30 pm.

Saturday August 25th – Gates open at 10 am with time runs starting at 11 am.
Sunday August 26th – Gates open at 9 am with time runs starting at 10:30 am.
