There are over 90,000 people in attendance at Firefly Music Festival 2016. We decided to chat with a few and see where they are from and what they are most excited about, so we asked them some questions.
Prash Dave from Philadelphia, PA and Melissa Veta from Mexico

This is Prash Dave and Melissa’s third year at Firefly. They’re most excited about Deadmau5, Blink-182, and Florence & The Machine. The couple is staying at a hotel nearby and they’re favorite food so far is the cheese fries. They tried the beer at the Dogfish Head Brewery tent and said they really liked it. Prash Dave and Melissa said the weather is the best they’ve experienced the past few years. Prash Dave and Melissa said they are excited for the bands but their favorite part about being at Firefly is the overall experience.
Caitlin Jarrah from Virginia Beach, VA and Genny Moses from Raleigh, NC

This year is Cailtin and Genny’s first year at Firefly. Caitlin is excited for Monsters Of Men and Mumford & Sons. Genny is most excited for Tame Impala. Cailtin and Genny are both camping here and they said the weather has been fantastic this year. The cookies and cream milkshake from Gouda Boys is Cailtin’s favorite food so far and Genny loved the tacos! Cailtin and Genny are really excited to just take in the whole festival experience and enjoy the atmosphere.
PJ and Ashleigh from Fairfax, VA

For PJ and Ashleigh, this is their first Firefly experience. The two are most excited about Florance and the Machine, Deadmau5, and Major Lazer. After hanging out at the Dogfish Head Beer tent for a little tasting the craft brews, they decided to buy a growler. PJ and Ashleigh commented on the wonderful weather we’re having at Firefly this weekend. They both are enjoying the VIP passes and the whole experience.
