Lt. Tim Robinson with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stops by to give us some safety tips for Halloween.
Lt. Robinson says it’s important to carry a flashlight for many reasons. There are many neighborhoods with no street lights, so it is dark. Also, a motorist can see you easier as long as someone in your group has a flashlight.
He also says to make sure the bag your kids carry candy in is easy to hold. It’s also important to wear proper footwear so that kids do not trip and fall.
Lt. Robinson reminds us to make sure a responsible adult is with younger children. He also mentions the importance of checking children’s candy to see if there are any signs of tampering.
