The Carlisle Fire Company brought Christmas cheer to the streets of Milford, Delaware on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 11, with its Operation Santa Run.
Santa Claus rode on a fire truck across Milford and the surrounding area and passed out candy canes to everyone he came across. The event will also be held on Dec. 18 from noon to 5 p.m. Residents will be able to hear air horns and sirens as Santa approaches.
Members of the Carlisle Fire Company ask that residents go to their closest intersection and meet Santa there if he does not pass directly in front of their homes.
