MILTON, Del.- The Milton Theatre on Friday, Aug. 12 will host an evening of craft beer, gourmet mac-n-cheese, live music, a film screening and an art installation by Delaware locals, Nick Gruber and Orion Cameron.
According to director Fred Munzert, this event will be the first of its kind. The theatre has hosted a variety of different events, but bringing macaroni and cheese and beer together was a big inspiration for “Mac-N-Brews.”

“It’s going to be a great crowd, and everyone’s going to be out just to have fun on a Friday night,” Munzert says.
Entrance to this event is $10 and will get you a beer card to taste eight 4-ounce samples of local craft beer favorites – Dogfish Head, Mispillion River and Crooked Hammock. These are all local breweries, so attendees will have the opportunity to taste samples from nearby businesses. Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase. Grandpa(MAC) is bringing the noodles with an array of gourmet mac-n-cheese available for purchase.
The Sayles will be setting the mood with their surf rock style throughout the evening. The live music will coincide with the film screening of Manifest Destiny. Meanwhile, local artists Nick Gruber and Orion Cameron will be showcasing their original art in the Milton Theatre lobby and performing a live art installation. If you are an art enthusiast, all pieces will be available for purchase from the artist.
