People with diabetes can encounter certain eye problems if they don’t control their blood sugar.
That is what doctors call, diabetic retinopathy, or diabetic eye disease. DelmarvaLife’s Sydney Whitfield went to Chesapeake Eye Center in Berlin to learn more about it as a part of Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness month.
