Many people in the Seaford, Del. area are talking non-stop about Dona Maria’s Pupuseria and the Salvadorian food they’re serving there.
So we sent Sydney Whitfield to go check it out and learn why Dona Maria’s story fits the bill of the “American dream.”
Dona Maria Gomez, owner, says she loves to cook and it’s her passion. Dona says their specialty is pupusas, which is a tortilla stuffed with meat and cheese and then it is flattened back out and grilled.
Dona Maria’s Pupuseria is a restaurant but also a Salvadorian market so people can make pupusas at home.
