Disney on Ice is coming to the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center!
Kimberly Becker joins us in the studio and you’ll actually see her skating around the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center this weekend but not dressed as herself. She will be playing the role of Mrs. Darling, the mother of the Darling children in Disney’s Peter Pan.
Kimberly started ice skating when she was 9-years-old and lived in Boise, ID. She enjoyed ice skating and performing so her coach suggested auditioning for Disney on Ice. Kimberly got the job and has been doing it for nine years.
She travels with the cast and crew eight months out of the year but Kimberly says it flies by. Kimberly also tells us how thankful she is for all the opportunities Disney on Ice has given her.
The Disney on Ice Passport to Adventure show includes four stories starting off with Mickey and Minnie going to Africa with The Lion King, taking a trip to Neverland with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, going under the sea with the Little Mermaid, and then to Arendelle with the cast of Frozen.
Disney on Ice Passport to Adventure shows are Friday, March 31 at 7:30 am, Saturday, April 1 at 11 am, 3:30 pm, and 7:30 pm, and Sunday, April 2 at 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm. To purchase tickets, go here.
