Sean recently swung by to find out how it works and how you can unload a few old items while searching for some new ones. Summer Dennis, owner of Growth Spurts, tells us that they carry size newborn to 10/12 and some of the clothing still has tags.
If you bring in clothes to be sold at Growth Spurts, they set up and account and they process the items. The seller receives 40%-60% of the selling price.
Growth Spurts also has baby gear such as bottles and nursing pillows. They also carry pack-and-plays and strollers. Summer says they typically price things half of the retail price.
They carry eco-friendly toys called green toys which is made from recycled milk jugs. Growth Spurts carries maternity clothes as well.
Summer says their selection changes every week because she gets about 5-10 drop-offs a day.
