They say ‘One Man’s Trash is Another Man’s Treasure.’
And that just may be the case for the town of Ocean City.
For the past 10 years, Ocean City has been going green by turning trash into renewable energy. That is 33,000 tons of material each year that produces electricity and as a result they do not put any trash into a landfill.
So far this method has been working and has saved the town money — all while keeping the waters clean.
