Ocean City Parks and Recreation has recently released their newest activity: Bubble Soccer.
It’s played just like any other game of soccer, but the only difference is that each team member is inside of big, air-filled bubbles. Eddie Pinto, Ocean City Bubble Soccer Coordinator says that it has gained so much popularity that groups sign up to play in organized leagues.
Sydney Whitfield teamed up with 102.5 WBOC’s Corey Phoebus to take on the game. It should come to no surprise that they said the game was nothing but pure excitement. After running around in these round tubes, they said they even broke a sweat!
The game is only offered for adults for a limited time during the off season from late September to early November. If you are middle school aged, there are opportunities for you to try the game out once a month on Friday evenings.
