Now that spring is officially here, let’s talk about spring fashion – specifically, wedding and prom fashions. Maria McEvoy, of Ocean City’s only bridal and formal wear boutique, Sandals Bridal and Formal Wear, helps us learn all about what’s in style this season.
Maria says for prom, the big trends are 2 piece, cut outs, ombre, ball gowns, and dresses with more embellishment. They also have a nice line of cocktail dresses.
Maria says the trends for wedding this season is tea length and light chiffon with a low back. Maria says these styles are very popular for beach weddings on Delmarva. Sandals Bridal makes flip flops and barefoot sandals which are made in house and can be customized how you’d like them.
Sandals Bridal also has mother-of-the-bride dresses and Maria says they have dresses to cater to each woman. Tuxedo trends this season are two-tone tuxes and full length ties.
