Sussex County Federal Credit Union is changing their name to Tidemark Federal Credit Union.
They decided to change their name as a sign of growth and expansion.
“It’s a sign of growth as we expand our services from Sussex County into Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset counties,” CEO Pam Fleutte saysa. “The change better reflects our members and our goals for the future. We wanted a name that would both reflect the area we serve and our approach to banking. Water is clearly a unifying geographical feature in Delaware and Maryland but the name also evokes steadiness and reliability while being uplifting at the same time.”
