We’re all familiar with how taxis work. You call them or give them a wave and they pick you up and take you where you need to go.
Two young, local entrepreneurs realized there was something missing from local taxi services. Sean caught a ride with Wheel’s Luxury Taxi Service to find out what makes them different from the rest.
Wheels was started by friends Kapre Davis & Kevin White in April of 2016 after they noticed the market was missing an upscale taxi service. With both having a love for cars and driving, they knew they could fill this void.
“Well what makes us different is we provide the best service in town the cars that we drive our luxury cars,” Kapre says. “We get all our clients within 15 minutes or less. We have the little things as then water in the car, candies in the car – we even have aux cords, and we have floor lighting as well.”
You can plan your ride in advance or call and they will be to you within 15 minutes of your call.
“During the daytime, we normally take people to the mall, shopping, to the doctors appointment, doctors offices. At nighttime, usually to dinner,” Kapre says. “They like riding in a classy vehicle and we actually take people to bars often, very often.”
Kapre says as long as they pick you up in Salisbury, they can take you anywhere you need to go. They take cash, credit card, and debit card.
