For those who were fortunate enough to go to prom in high school, there are a couple things about the event you may never forget.

For the ladies, you probably remember your dress. However, not all young ladies are able to afford a dress for prom. That’s why community organizations are providing dresses for them at a low cost, or no cost at all.

Susan Ward, a volunteer with the non-profit organization, “Promise,” tells us about the group and how the community can donate.

The Promise event is Feb. 23 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Salisbury, Md. from 10 am-2 pm.
