We had a great time getting to know WBOC news reporter and anchor Lindsay Tuchman in the DelmarvaLife kitchen today. Her mom is a chef and a restaurant owner and her dad is a familiar name around WBOC. Gary Tuchman was an anchor in the 80’s at WBOC and now works at CNN.  Now, if you’d like to make her mom’s Homemade Pimento Cheese, here’s what you’ll need!

Homemade Pimento Cheese Dip

  • 1 Block White Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Block Yellow Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 – 3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • Dash of Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Small Jar Pimento (about 1/2 oz.)

Shred blocks of cheese. Place cheese, mayonnaise, cayenne pepper and pimento into the food processor and mix together. You’re looking for a chunky consistency. Check product for cayenne pepper and mayo (you can always add more if you need to). Enjoy!
