It was late last year when we visited Mardela Middle & High School for a training session on how to “Stop the Bleed” in the event of a traumatic injury.
While nobody wants to find themselves in such a situation, learning how to “Stop the Bleed” could save lives.
We sit down with Paramedic & Field Training Officer, Andrew Vickers, with Sussex County Emergency Medical Services, to learn more about the program. He’ll also give a demonstration on the Mid South Audio Stage, on how to stop the bleed.
