Riders will be clicking helmets, airing up tires and pedaling hard all to take part in the 5th Annual Talbot Special Riders Spring Classic bike tour on Saturday, April 8.

The event is being held to raise money for the non-profit organization Talbot Special Riders, which provides equine therapy to youth and adults with developmental disorder. Equine therapy involves the use of horses and other equines to promote physical and mental health to individuals.

Riders will start their tour beginning at Easton Middle School, and will continue along one of three routes. Riders can take their pick of a 25-mile route, a 50-mile half-century route and a 62-mile metric-century route.

People wishing to participate can register at 7 a.m. the day of the event for $60. The ride is rain or shine.

A licensed massage therapist will be on hand to provide massages for riders and a complimentary lunch will also be provided.

All proceeds from Saturday’s event will go directly toward supporting TSR’s mission.
