Claressa “T-Rex” Shields hits the heavy bag at a private gym in Flint, Michigan. It’s been 2 years since she became the first women to the win the Gold Medal in Women’s Boxing. Since splitting with her long time coach Jason Crutchfield, she has begun working with another coach in Flint but the atmosphere is different. She is usually alone in the space and rarely has anyone to spar against.
