The Rehoboth Elementary Jazz Band is performing for us on the Mid South Audio Stage.
Walt Hetfield and Ken Schleifer are music teachers at Rehoboth Beach Elementary. They talk about their after school program called RED, which stands for Rehoboth Empowers Dreams.
Some of these band members have only been playing an instrument for six months. They’re performing “Hot Cross Blues” and “When the Saints Go Marching In.”
